  • Vicki Buchanan, PT

    Vicki Buchanan, PT

    FOUNDER, CO-OWNER

    Vicki Buchanan, PT attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1986. Vicki founded Regional Physical Therapy in 1993. She is an outpatient general orthopedics therapist and has over 30 years of experience. She is ASTYM certified, dry needling trained, and kinesiotape trained. She is an APTA member and currently serves on the APTA board of directors. Vicki has completed her Fellowship of Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography. Her practice won Practice of the Year award for contributions to society at 2018 Hands-On Diagnostic Annual Symposium.

  • Dick Stewart, PT

    Dick Stewart, PT

    PRESIDENT, CO-OWNER

    Dick Stewart, PT graduated from OU Health Sciences Center with a degree in physical therapy in 1982. Dick joined Regional Physical Therapy in 2016 and is our president and co-owner. Dick is ASTYM certified, dry-needling trained, and is working on his MSKUS fellowship with Hands on Diagnostics. Dick enjoys working with patients of all ages and has extensive knowledge of spinal conditions and orthopedic conditions. Dick loves to educate his patients and the public regarding how much training, education, and knowledge physical therapists have to offer and how physical therapists can help many different conditions.

  • Mark Ward, PT, MPT

    Mark Ward, PT, MPT

    PHYSICAL THERAPIST

    Mark graduated from Oklahoma University Health Science Center with a Master's in Physical Therapy in 2007.

    Mark joined the Regional Physical Therapy team in 2007 and is our Vice President of Operations. Mark treats patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. He likes to work on getting their pain levels down while restoring mobility, strength, and function. One thing he would like his patients to know is that physical therapy is a partnership. Communicate with your PT on how you feel and do you part; do your home exercise program. Mark is ASTYM certified, dry needling trained, and is in a mentorship for electromylography and nerve conduction studies.

  • Dr. Kody Haskins, PT, DPT

    PHYSICAL THERAPIST

    Kody graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science in 2015 and a Masters in Exercise Physiology in 2018. Kody then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021.

    Kody joined Regional Physical Therapy in 2021. Kody enjoys working with a variety of patients with orthopedic conditions but especially loves working with athletes. He enjoys helping his patients feel better and move better. Kody believes that as a PT he acts as a guide to his patients, but it is ultimately up to them to want to improve.

  • Dr. Ashlie Rose, PT, DPT

    PHYSICAL THERAPIST

    Ashlie graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2019. She then attended Southwest Baptist University where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2023.

    Ashlie was inspired to become a physical therapist after her own experience with physical therapy after a hip surgery. As a former basketball player herself, Ashlie especially enjoys working with athletes. She believes it’s important for her patients to feel motivated to perform their treatment plan to reap the biggest benefits from physical therapy.

    Ted graduated from Oklahoma Christian College with his Bachelors of Science in Education in 1980 and was a science teacher for several years. Ted earned his Associates in Applied Science (PTA) from Oklahoma City Community College in 2006.

    Ted has been with Regional Physical Therapy since 2004, working as a physical therapy technician for 2 years before becoming a PTA. Ted believes strongly that physical therapy can reduce your pain and improve function. Ted is our Aquatics Manager and treats patients in both the gym and the pool.

    Heather earned her Associates in Applied Science (PTA) from Oklahoma City Community College in 2009.

    Heather joined Regional Physical Therapy in 2004 as a physical therapy technician and joined our team as a PTA in 2009. Heather enjoys it when her patients are actively involved in their physical therapy treatment and home exercise program. She likes to tell people that “there is a method to our madness.” Heather helps manage the professional staff’s schedule and provides gym-based and aquatic physical therapy treatments.

  • Brandon Cox, PT, MPT

    PHYSICAL THERAPIST

    Brandon earned his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama in 2005.

    Brandon is the clinic director of our South OKC location and has been with Regional Physical Therapy since 2018. Brandon is ASTYM certified, dry needling trained, and has been a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor. Brandon especially enjoys working with patients with sports injuries and likes helping all his patients regain normal function. He wishes more people knew how beneficial physical therapy can be, even compared to some surgeries.

    Thaja Berglan-Giles, PTA

    Thaja earned her Associates in Applied Science (PTA) from Rose State College in 1999. In 2001 she earned her Bachelors in Health and Sport Sciences from the University of Oklahoma.

    Thaja started at Regional Physical Therapy as a physical therapy technician / receptionist in 1996 and joined as a PTA in 1999. Thaja has earned her APTA Advanced Proficiency for the PTA in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy. She is MSKUS trained, Kinesiotape trained, ASTYM certified, and has had executive/business management training. Thaja enjoys working with a wide variety of patients with orthopedic conditions, including patients who have had joint replacements and even pediatric patients. Thaja wants everyone to know that there are many instances where trying physical therapy can help people avoid surgeries and that physical therapy can also help people with headaches, TMJ, and dizziness.

    Laurie graduated from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2007.

    Laurie is our Edmond clinic director and has been with RPT since 2007. She is ASTYM certified, McKenzie A & B certified, and dry needling trained. One of the things Laurie likes most about physical therapy is treating patients in all walks and stages of life.
